Volgograd leather factory was founded in 1930 in the city of Stalingrad on the banks of the great russian river Volga.The factory was equipped with new machinery in 1966 which was suitable for that era and it was specialized in production of chroma leather of cattle raw materials.The owner of the factory was changed in 2002 and a new team of managers and technicians started to work, led by General Director Oleg G. Zenkin. During the years 2002 - 2003 the reconstruction of tanning workshop and soaking workshops was accomplished and new drums, produced by Italian company «Pajusco» were set up. The wide machine «Pirana» produced by «3P» company was introduced for fleshing of raw material. The excessive humidity for the produced pre-prepaired raw «Wet-blue» material is pressed out, using the press machine by «3P», with the opening outlet width of 2, 70 metres.The reconstruction of the factory led to the production of up to 300 tons of the «Wet-blue» raw material per month, which is totally bought by European leather factories in order to manufacture the high-class leather. Taking into consideration the small quantity of production and the control system, which is established in the factory and which include every stage of the technological process, we may receive high- quality raw materials.Volgograd leather factory is interested in forming of partnership with cattle leather manufacturers and invites everybody to establish cooperation.
